How to apply:

You can either call the Weyburn Big Brothers Big Sisters office at 842-4050, email us sasktel.net, print out an application here or fill out an inquiry form right here.

The application procedure involves a few steps:

When you call, we will review the application and screening process with you over the phone.

You will then be invited to pick up an information/application package which gives you an overview of our programs.

Next, an application form must be filled out: this includes a police record check, a child abuse record check and several references.

Finally, our caseworker will set up an interview and then you will be on your way to becoming a new volunteer.

Our support to new volunteers includes orientation and training sessions, valuable information on being a Mentor and ongoing guidance. You will learn what to expect from your first visit with your Little or Mentee right through to the end of your first year in our program.
